1. Property Registration (Basic)

This package covers the legal registration of property ownership in Japan following an already agreed transaction.

Scope

  • review of ownership-related documents

  • preparation of registration documents

  • preparation and handling of registration-specific powers of attorney 
  • ownership transfer registration

  • coordination with the Legal Affairs Bureau

  • basic registration timeline and checklist

  • bilingual coordination (JP / EN)

Package Fee

From JPY 180,000 (scope-dependent)

(Registration taxes, notary fees, and external costs are not included.

Consumption tax will be added where required under Japanese law.)

This package establishes correct ownership registration only.
It does not include transaction coordination beyond registration.

 

2. Property Transfer & Cross-Border Support

This package is designed for foreign residents and non-resident owners who require additional coordination due to cross-border elements.

Includes Package 1, plus:

  • coordination for non-resident owners

  • explanation of registration documents and procedures

  • document preparation support for overseas clients

  • coordination and handling of registration-specific powers of attorney for non-resident owners
  • coordination with related parties (seller, bank, agent)

Scope clarification

  • coordination and administrative execution only

  • no brokerage or negotiation services

  • no tax or investment advice

Package fee

From JPY 350,000 (scope-dependent)

(Registration taxes, notary fees, and external costs are not included.

Consumption tax will be added where required under Japanese law.)

3. Property Portfolio & Ongoing Registration Support

This package is intended for clients managing multiple properties or long-term ownership structures in Japan.

Includes Package 2, plus:

  • multiple ownership registrations or updates

  • name, address, or entity changes

  • coordination of ongoing registration matters

  • ongoing support for registration-specific powers of attorney across multiple properties or changes
  • structured documentation management

  • interface with company and expat support packages (where registration-related)

Important notes

  • services are limited to registration and coordination

  • advisory services are excluded

  • external specialist fees are not included

Package fee

From JPY 600,000 (scope-dependent)
